Ivy Endodontic Group is a well-established endodontic practice with two locations; Irvine & Garden Grove. We believe in progress and are always working to better ourselves to deliver the best patient care experience possible.
We have two office locations. we are looking for someone to mainly be in our Irvine location but possibly be in Garden Grove 1-2 days a week, if needed.
We are looking for a competent dental assistant who wants to grow with us. Experience is welcomed but the eagerness to learn and grow is a must. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for endodontic treatment including taking radiographs
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures as needed
Skills
Dental Assistant that is certified in Radiography
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
