We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking medical images, maintaining infection control protocols, and ensuring patient comfort. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience with dental assisting, knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, bilingual (either Spanish or Mandarin), and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
– Take X-Ray images
– Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
– Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
– Take and record vital signs of patients
– Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
– Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
– Perform dental receptionist duties as needed: answer calls, check-in and out patients.
Qualifications
– Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or at least 1 year of experience
– X-ray certification
– Knowledge of dental software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) preferred
– Familiarity with dental scanning systems preferred
– Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin)
– Ability to work in team
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
