Position Overview:
This is a hybrid role that splits time between chairside assisting and front office duties. We’re seeking someone who is flexible, positive, and eager to support both the clinical and administrative sides of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the dentist with patient care, including exams, procedures, and sterilization
– Take x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
– Prepare and break down operatories
– Greet patients, check them in and out, and manage the appointment schedule
– Answer phones, confirm appointments, and handle patient inquiries
– Assist with insurance verification and basic billing tasks
– Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
Qualifications:
– Active California RDA or DA certification (preferred, but we’re open to the right fit)
– X-ray certification (required)
– Front office or customer service experience a plus
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to multitask and switch between clinical and administrative roles
– Warm, professional, and reliable
